WELCOME BACK AND TERM DATES

WELCOME BACK EVERYONE.  TERM DATES FOR 2024/25   EACH TERM IS 8 CLASSES.   THE DATES ARE WEEKS BEGINNING:-  (These may be subject to change with half days, weather etc. but we hope to adhere to it as much as possible.) Diswellstown school are a week behind as we started back later in September.

TERM 1

JANUARY      6, 13, 20.  (SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS)

Please note Chapelizod are 2 classes behind due to school closures and Mount Sackville are 1 class benind.

TERM 3 CLASSES 

Navan Road – Jan 28, Feb 4, 11, 25.  March 4, 11, 18, 25.

St. Brigids       Jan  29.   Feb  5, 12, 26.  March 5, 12, 19, 26.

Diswellstown.    Jan 30.  Feb 6, 13, 27.  March 6, 13, 20, 27.

Chapelizod.       Feb 28.   Mar 7, 14, 21, 28.  April 4, 11.  Double class. (this is a school half day so we will take the opportunity to do a double class – Jun/Sens 12 – 1.30pm and Older class 12 – 2pm. They should can bring their costumes if they have them and a small snack for a quick break).

Mount Sackville.   Feb  7, 14.  March   7, 14, 21, 28.  April 4 (double class – Jun/Sens 2 – 3.30pm and older class 3 – 5pm). 

MOUNT SACKVILLE TAKE NOTE – The school closes at 12 on 11th April and there is no class in Mount Sackville.   Children are welcome to come to a free class in Chapelizod school and bring their costumes if they have them.  We will take the opportunity to do a double dress rehearsal with both schools.  Jun/Sens should come from 12 -1.30pm and older classes 12 – 2pm – please bring costume and snack).  Chapelizod school is closed the following Friday so we will invite them to join us in Mount Sackville.

ATTENTION ALL SCHOOLS.   PLATFORM SS WILL BE CLOSED FOR ONE WEEK .

TERM 4.   (Classes are different to previous terms as we will have to do a double class to allow the Junior class and older class to rehearse the show together. A double class is counted as 2 classes)

This enables us  to rehearse the Jun/Sen infants with the older class.  Jun/Sen infants will stay for an hour and a half and the older children will stay for two hours.  Children should bring a snack as we will give them a short break. ALSO PLEASE BRING THE COSTUMES AND PUT THEIR NAMES ON THEM.

CLASSES  5  & 6   MAY 20TH.    This is a full dress rehearsal, double class.  A double class is 2 classes.  – We will need to see everyone’s costume – they don’t have to bring in the black, we will assume they have them – PLEASE PUT NAMES ON THEIR COSTUMES)   The older class will come from 2.30-4.30pm and the Jun/Sen infants should come from 3 – 4.30pm.)   Please bring costumes and a small snack and drink.
